Longevity Coatings Corp (“we”) operates longevitycoatings.com. This page explains what information the site collects, what we do with it and how to contact us about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Quote requests. When you use the Request a Quote form, we receive what you type: your name, company, email address, phone number, the service and quantity you need, the coating specified and your part details. Any drawing, model or photo you attach comes with it.
- Email and phone. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence as part of our normal business records.
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records basic technical data for each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can improve the site. It sets cookies in your browser and reports to Google what pages you view, roughly where you are and what device and browser you use. Google Analytics does not record your name or email address, and it does not store your full IP address. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by refusing cookies in your browser; the site works the same either way.
Beyond that, the site does not use advertising trackers, does not set marketing cookies and does not sell or rent visitor data. Quote requests are emailed to us, and the website keeps a copy so a request is not lost if an email fails to arrive.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your quote, and to ask follow-up questions about your part.
- To do the work you hire us for and to keep the records a manufacturing business needs, such as quotes, orders, invoices and shipping paperwork.
- To answer your questions and keep in touch about work in progress.
We do not use your information for marketing unless you ask us to keep you informed.
Drawings and specifications
Drawings, models, photos and specifications you send are treated as confidential. They are seen only by the Longevity Coatings staff who need them to quote and complete your job, and they are not shared with anyone outside the company without your permission. If you need a signed non-disclosure agreement before sending a drawing, contact us and we will arrange it.
Who else sees your information
We never sell or share your personal or company information with third parties for their own use. The only outside parties involved are the services that make the site and our email work: the company that hosts this website and Microsoft, which provides our email. They process the data on our behalf and under their own privacy and security commitments. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and the drawings that come with them are kept as long as we need them to quote, do the work and maintain our business records. If you would like a quote request and its attachments deleted, email us and we will remove them.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email info@longevitycoatings.com or write to us at the address below.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit. Email and files are kept on password-protected company systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
