Our Allentown facility is a full-service shop. We machine the part, apply the thermal spray coating, and grind, lap or super finish it to your specifications. Keeping every step in-house gives us control over quality from start to finish.
Services
- CNC machining: precision turning and milling of steel and aluminum, plus titanium, stainless steel and superalloys.
- Thermal spray coating: carbide, ceramic and specialty alloy coatings.
- Diamond grinding: high-precision finishing of coated surfaces.
- Precision flat lapping: flat to 4 light bands (about .000004″ per band), Ra < 4 µin.
- Super finishing: mirror finishes, Ra < 4 µin.
- Solid ceramic and carbide parts: custom components for specialized needs.

Grinding
We grind all materials, with a focus on hard materials like tungsten carbide, ceramics and hardface alloys, plus coatings such as stainless steel and molybdenum. Our universal ID and OD grinders cover the full range.
- Carbides ground and lapped to an extremely smooth 1 Ra finish
- Plasma-sprayed ceramics ground and lapped to a 4 Ra finish
- Diameter tolerance to .0001″ (.0025 mm)
Machining
Our CNC turning and milling centers produce tight-tolerance, complex profiles in traditional materials like steel and aluminum and in advanced materials including titanium and superalloys.
Large parts and production runs
From a single wear part to a production run, small or large. We coat large parts inside and out, and multiple medium and small handling systems support high-volume work. Multi-axis, computer-controlled motion systems and multi-spindle setups handle shafts, sleeves, hubs, balls and many other parts.
